Translation and Editing

I take on translation and editorial projects in the arts, humanities, and qualitative social sciences. I am a bilingual speaker of English and German, and a member of the Austrian Association of Literary and Scientific Translators. My clients include major public universities in Vienna, fiction and non-fiction presses in the DACH-region, as well as individual clients. Please use the form below to request a quote for your project and get in contact.

I take on editing projects for BA, MA and PhD theses, as well as book manuscripts and grant applications.

Translation

My working languages are German and English, which I translate both ways. I translate book manuscripts, exhibition catalogues, theses, and articles.

Developmental Editing

Let me help you with the big issues of your text: structure, coherence, and argument.

Line and Copy Editing

My line edits improve the readability of your text: syntax, phrasing, word choice, and style.

My copy edits provide a second pair of eyes to fix grammar, punctuation, formatting, and spelling.

Do you have a specific project in mind?

If you already know you need professional editing for your thesis or book manuscript, please directly get in touch with me by filling out the form below. Tell me more about your project, your timeline, and what exactly you need.

Book translations

I am interested in taking on book translations, from English to German and from German to English. My latest translation are Peace or Pacification by Liam Ó Ruairc, Need for Speed by Benjamin Noys and Spirit Structures of Papua New Guinea by Michael Hirschbichler.
